lol I have to say I think it's fair that Telkom won those names back... They where obviously just cyber squatting....
Telkom became the first firm to win a dispute under the new process last month, when Cool Ideas was ordered to hand over the name telkommedia.co.za.
Cool Ideas registered that address on September 4 last year, soon after Telkom’s subsidiary Telkom Media announced plans to apply for a licence to operate a pay-TV service.
Telkom also recently submitted a complaint with SAIIPL against The Internet Corporation regarding the domain names phonebook.co.za and whitepages.co.za. The matter is pending.
Surely there must be a company out there - other than Telkodemonopolies, that is legally entitled to the domain name do.co.za...
No, not AFAIK, but my point is that the name of the beast is conspicuously absent from do.co.za, and Telkodemonopolies could therefore be preventing some 'DO' company out there from using this domain name...Did Telkom muscle do.co.za over to them via legal action?
