TelkomInternet Acceptable Usage Policy

Just a few things I want to question, please give me your thoughts of why these are in place:

1) You may not provide network services from your dialup account (for example, you may not use your dialup accout to operate as an FTP server)

- Nobody would want to do this, but still way policy?

2) You may not emply automated electronics or mechanical processes designed to defeat network inactivity time-outs. Such tolls include, but are not limited to, use of an auto-dialer and repetitive pinging the host.

3) At no time may there be simultaneous use of the same user-id and password combination.

TelkomInternet also doesnt allow you to flood IRC channels. If you report the persons I.P you can get them disconnected from the network hehe

Guessing the purpose of this is to ensure people get disconnected from the network, which would mean, if they were on Infinitcall, they'd be charged again and again - more money for Telkom.
