Upgraded the office to the Telkom 2TB R699 yesterday. Best futureproof solution for us considering there is no affordable fibre available and probably never will be. Speeds stil in the 50-75mbps range.

Happy.

That is not bad speeds. Then you don't need fibre. I had fibre with Evotel and Home-Connect for 3 years now. I have a 100-100 line. But, my maximum download speeds are 12mbps. Been trying for 2 years to see why it is capped. No one could help. Line was tested at least 2 times and they could not find the issue. But, I am still happy, since it is much better than the 2mbps I had with Telkom LTE before.

Bad contract deal. Would need at least 10tb a month at R199. Telkom should have offered 300tb at R699 a month. That would have been a real good deal.
I can't tell if you're being serious or just don't know what you're talking about.

12MB/s or 12mbps
A 100mbps line downloads at ~12MB/s

Then downgrade to a 25mbps line to save money?

Well. Still not too bad a shout for 12 months if you have decent coverage.

2TB is about the same as the deals that have a 10Mbps speed and about a million times more than you'll get with rain mobile, from where I live.

Here's the problem, who uses 2TB? If I could make it stretch over a year with no commitment it would be excellent but as is they know most people won't use a tenth of that. Rather get a capped deal at a fraction of the price.
