Well I stand corrected!
The reason I am an ex-Telkom customer is that the exchange I am connected to now is not ADSL enabled. I appreciate your comments, obviously I am not up to date... my comments relate to February this year... my apologies for anyone mislead by my comments!

It is now R680 line rental plus between R230 - R300 for an ISP.

The 3GB cap now applies to any and all traffic on your line.

Telkom states the cap is per line and you have to buy an extention on your account once you have exceeded your cap.
