Telkomsa problems with msn,mirc,soulseek

hi i was wondering if anyone could help me, i have adsl and i use telkom as my service provider and i was once informed form someone in a chat room that telkomsa might be the problem!

the problem i have is that when ever i connect to a server like, MSN, Irc or soulseek etc. i seem to constantly get disconnected not from the internet but just from the programe, i am not a pc bof so my terminology might suck but if there is anyone that could help me fix this problem i would be very thankful!

put your router in Bridge mode (search forums) and get your router set up properly. the settings the techies leave you with are cr*p.

best you ask some more questions about the better router settings to have i.e ip ranges, dns settings etc.
