Tenda 3G622R+ and E1752 and 8ta....sucky combination.....help??

I have the Tenda 3G622R+ with the Huawei E1752 (Flashed with updated stock firmware) with 8ta sim.

Every now and then the tenda router loses total connection, as in the modem shows full blue and on as if connected but i get no internet access and the router freezes. I am fed up with struggeling to get a good consistent connection. Also wi-fi bombs out often.

When i do have a connection, my download is 5.1 and upload .6...

anyone else got issues with the 622R+?

Also any advice and/or help?

Hi, unfortunately I cannot help you with above post, but I do think you may be able to help me, seeing you have managed to do what I have tried for 3 days now...connecting to the internet through my tenda and having the benefit of wifi at home from a 3g connection.


I also have Tenda 3G622R+ and I have tried each of the following three modems 1) k4305---i get a green flashing light in the led display, 2) K3772-Z----no led display but modem gets warm and K3715----also no led display.

I cannot find my isp details on the router setting page ( vodacom ) , so I have tried using vodafone, seleceting "internet" as the APN and dialling *99#

Computer connects to router just fine, but I cannot connect to the internet at all, could you explain what you mean by flashing and updating stock firmware?

I appreciate any help at all...

Don't know if you've found a solution yet but I flashed my router (Tenda 3G622R+) with the latest firmware (downloaded from their site) and I am now able to use my Huawei E173 for a stable connection.
