South Africa's biggest data centre company says it will always need Eskom

Teraco has said that although it has invested in a 120-megawatt (MW) solar project in the Free State, it will always rely on Eskom to supply or transmit power to its facilities.

The company explained that it requires Eskom's transmission network to wheel energy generated by its renewable energy projects and from other Independent Power Producers (IPP) to its data centres.

The world goes nuclear for data centers cause they realised renewables don't cut it. South Africa is like hey we can do it, almost like Internet Explorer catching up

I said this same thing about a year ago on this forum and I was ridiculed for it. Now, what do you have to say for yourselves?
EDIT: I am aware of the good old censorship coming out again, but commenting with facts is not criticism.
The truth is never anything other then the truth no matter how unpleasant it is for others and their weak little constitutions to handle.

Who ridiculed you for what?
