If my 10 year old car can bong incessantly that there is a passenger sitting next to me to put their seatbelt on, surely tesla can do the same with pilot. Sensor in the seat to tell if someone is sitting in it. Sure, someone can override it with a bag of rice but how is that the cars fault?

Precisely why you don’t need the sensor to start with when you have one in the actual steering wheel.

So a Tesla doesn't bong incessantly to put your seatbelt on?

Pretty sure it does and that it’s a legal requirement for litigation America.

But that’s a seatbelt related concern and not an auto pilot one.
