The only problem that I see with the latest rendition of your speed test is that it seems to be locally oriented which, in a world where the vast majority of our content is non-local, seems to not be so relevant... to much. I would have thought that a better (minimum) starting point would be the UK, from whence most of our traffic is delivered. One of the more esteemed service providers in SA, IS, is purveyor of much of that traffic, but for some reason, still to be determined, they for example, have a major bottleneck - 196-210-10-1-dynamic.isdsl.co.za - which seems to throttle all and any traffic to it's heart's content - yesterday at lunchtime for example, worst latency record was 4672ms. That affects most of my traffic. Interestingly, WiberSolutions, a shout-out coming, has no such issue on their network - I measured 1.45ms from London to a local node yesterday, so there you go... In this instance, local might be lekker, but it certainly isn't authoritative and that's for sure...

Thanks.

BTW I love being called a 'Junior Member' even after ten years on this forum. People haven't called me junior since the nineteen fifties. Thanks.
