Saw a show about this
The school police as an answer to school shootings is just another way for the NRA to sell more guns
1000s of schools with armed police

Also issues with police at schools and arresting kids for low level violations such as writing their names on desks or walls and throwing food

The NRA doesn't sell any guns though

More guns in the hands of competent people who care has certainly serve Israel very well since the Ma'alot Massacre in 1974, which saw the creation of policy where volunteer school personnel, parents and grandparents received special training from the civil guard, and were replicated throughout the schools. The Yamam special police unit was also created as a result of this attack.

Cortes added to this idea when he argued that stricter gun control laws have failed the world, as seen in the 2015 Paris Bataclan nightclub attack and numerous other incidents, as those who wish harm upon others will always find a way to do so.

“Evildoers, by definition, do not respect our rules and will find ways to skirt them,” Cortes added, suggesting the only sure-fire way to combat these horrific acts is to improve school security and put America’s children first.

“Let’s value our children like the treasure they are and guard them accordingly,” he said. “How? Let’s start with key cards, fences, entry checks, biometric scanners, and — yes — armed guards, and a lot of them.”

Speculation much? If not, I'm curious to see your sources on this.

Packaged as entertainment, but their research is impeccable.

This the show
found it very interesting that it’s such a problem in some schools but there’s the need for the police to be there
Creates such a dichotomy in the parents and learners minds
Reminded me of abuse in some homes where the people meant to protect you are the ones causing harm on you

I don't waste time watching leftist media. tl;dr?
tl;dr?

Documented examples of school police arresting kids for low level violations, as well as highlighting the long term effects on those kids, you know, to clear up any speculation you might have.

OK.
TBH I don't consider their research to be any good at all, and "impeccable" creds would need to have a little more than Oliver merely stating that "Experts agree that <insert my alt facts, pinky promise it's true>".

I used to find Oliver quite funny a few years ago, and watched a few episodes for laughs, but since then his content has changed and he has become a cheerleader for the left. The format of "Lost weak jive" is basically a one-sided soliloquy which presents anti-conservative strawman arguments as "humor". And that's OK, humor is subjective, but if I wanted humorous entertainment, I would rather read David Bullard's column. Each to his own.
