Yes. This is actually flipping cool. I've been a Texo supporter for ages, but they have really done me proud today. Received this as part of their newsletter!

Akamai CDN

Akamai is used by the world's largest websites and streaming services, and Texo is the first — and only — South African webhost to offer its clients access to the Akamai Content Distribution Network. Akamai is available right now to WordPress MAX clients, and will be made available to all clients over the next few weeks. more about Akamai, or if you have any questions, please use the community forum.

LOL I actually have Akamai in my blacklist - plenty more ads served from there than anything else, in my experience. Still, good on Texo to make it accessible, I suppose.

Anyone have some good points I may have missed?

Akamai is used by people like Blizzard, Facebook etc to distribute content, you should really consider turning off and being more specific with any adverts you'd like to block as getting files locally is much faster than having to go the international route. I was wondering when someone will bring access to Akamai in SA and this is an awesome opportunity for people to have their content served directly from the worlds largest CDN.

Would definitely save on bandwidth if you consider how much international traffic your sites get (if any)

I do need to look at it from a web hosting POV. I've since gone back and checked my blacklist, and I don't have it any more. I used to add it myself though, back in the days... <sigh> ;)
