I guess you'll still consider me hysterical for saying you must not keep driving your car when Zimbabwe's president is driving on the same road as you.

Oh no. Not at all, because that actually happened. Let me assure you, that I have zero ambitions to visit Zimbabwe with their track record.

But your "argument" seems to revolve around my life being in danger, because the king of Thailand hates ICE scooters. Which is a bit of a stretch.
And not only Monarchies have plans to ban ICE car sales by some date in the future. In fact they are late to the table.

In general my opinion is that bans are near pointless, because it's unlikely that any more ICE vehicles will be sold by 2035 in any case. Anywhere. Projections, from both governments and private sources, have consistently fallen below the actual trends for about a decade now.
I'm just here for what the trends say.
