Today they were here just after 10 and left an hour or two ago. Problem is that there is a slight line noise on the analog side, but only after the ADSL connection is made (they first thought it was my non-Telkom ADSL router, but then when they plugged theirs in it did the same). Then they thought it was the ISDN line that I also have in my room, but it is on a different incoming line. Ended up replacing most of the external cabling but the problem still there, so they'll be back tomorrow with the special services team to look into it more.
The good news is that my ADSL is still rock solid at 56kb/s
