Hi,

just posting my thanks to this forum. Thanks to this forum I have save several thousands in cash.

As you might have guessed at this point, I was considering getting Sentech's "broadband" MyWireless service, but a friend pointed me in the right direction to this forum and told me to READ IT ALL

Thanks chaps, if it wasn't for this forum I'd have wasted my money and time on MyWireless.

For the time being, until I emigrate, going to keep the good ole 56k modem and use that. At least with a 56k modem I can keep a connection going and I can do lots to find out why there's a problem and get down to sorting it out.

Broadband internet in ZA is a myth...

Find someone with a modem and have them come over a few times and check the connection at your place

Its great when it works, but seems to be really 50/50 if you get a good or bloody crap connection in your area
and keep the 56K around if you get it just in case for a while
