Maritzburg is having quite a good season. Nice to see they kept Kaiser Chiefs to a draw. Could have won that though ;) and then I could have rubbed the anguish into my colleague at work :p:D

Chiefs played *** last night. Dillon Sheppard can still deliver very good crosses, hey.

Yeah, one of those players who progressed well through development and the youth national teams. Just like the dribbling wizard Junaid Hartley, never fully reached his potential.

Last night's results:

SuperSport United 2 - 1 Chippa United
Ajax Cape Town 2 - 2 Orlando Pirates

Today marks 12 years since the Ellis Park disaster, I can only hope that one day the PSL will take security seriously.

Chippa's new (6th) coach, Mark Harrison got a win in his first match. I still have them set to go straight down. After 25 rounds, (5 to go) Chiefs lead with 52 points. Platinum Stars have 48 and Pirates 46. At the bottom, Chippa have 19, Leopards and Ajax have 23.

Black Leopards and Chippa should go down. They don't deserve to be in the PSL.

After 26 matches, Chiefs lead on 55, Platinum Stars have 49 and Pirates have 46 and a game in hand. At the bottom, Chippa have 20, and Ajax and Leopards have 23.

Well done to both SSU and Pirates on great results. Rowan Williams saved an extra time penalty to ensure the draw. If Pirates advance after their next match, the go into the group stage. If SSU advance, they go to the group stage play off.
