The 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 is ridiculously beautiful and powerful

Porsche has unveiled the 2018 991 GT3, a naturally-aspirated beast and – in red – arguably one of the best-looking 911 models of recent times.

The car features a 4.0-litre flat six engine which produces 372kW, which is based on the engine used in 911 race cars.

And the "14" was a randomly chosen number to get my point across, not a verified actual figure. My point, which you seem to have missed, was that as impressive as it's performance is, it is, to me, thoroughly boring. I'd rather have an Aston or a Ferrari or a Lambo or a Tesla or an EP9 or an SLS or an SLR or a Continental GT or an F-Type... etc etc ad infinitum.

Of course it's purely personal preference and opinion.

I agree, they are fantastic cars. I didn't knock them, nor their technical prowess. I simply specifically said, "I really wish they would get creative with the design..."

Porsche changed the previous shape just enough to make the owners of the previous gen feel like their car is now old and needs an upgrade. It's a fine and brilliant balancing act. The average Joe wouldn't even see a difference.
