If Australia win we need to appoint their coaching staff. 1 year ago they were absolutely no-where but they always peak when it matters, FML.

The Indians played the entire ipl and Bumra looks on fire? I think Radaba also left the ipl earlier to rest. No issue with Faf but if you expect players to skip the ipl surely you should lead by example.

India team had 2 weeks to rest up before they played their first CWC match. Anyway, it shows that you know nothing about how professional cricket fast-bowlers train for serious events such as ICC tests and world cup.

Unlike self deluded Rabada, those Ozzie bowlers opt out of this year's IPL in favour of preparing for the world cup. What ****ing champs.
Genuine question - when the players forgo an IPL like in this WC year, does the home country association compensate them somewhat?

I guess that means I have the same knowledge as the SA coaches

Actually the mandated rest period is 3 weeks.

That is why india played their 1st match when we played our 3rd.

The pig3 have made sure that they will be the biggest beneficiaries of this world cup. The reason for this format has nothing to do with strength vs strength but rather to maximise the number of India, Aus and England matches for TV viewership numbers.

Yes, its a change up but at the end of the day the Pig3 want to keep the game as small as possible in order for them to get more money out of the TV deals.

There was no draw for the match schedule, it was just shoved down our throats. Also see how the pig3 got most of their easy matches early in order to build points early and have a cushion later in the tourney. Thus ensuring their qualification for the semi's

Ok sorry rant over.

We were an easy match for England and India :crying::crying::crying:

Lets be honest, we had slim hopes of winning those games, despite being #3 behind them in ICC rankings... the difference in quality and form was All blacks vs the rest. They were just that far ahead

This could be good for Pakistan... NZ hasnt batted 1st yet... if the conditions are good then Amir and Wahab could be in business

Insane pressure for Nzl.. they bat a long way down but this will be tricky. Maybe they failing now ahead of knockout unlike the past?
