It's been absolute s hite... Crowd attendance has been good, coverage, as in camera angles, quality of feed, commentary etc has been absolutely outstanding (with the exception of that phases won/lost/drawn info-graphic which is a crock of...).

SA form has been atrocious and that has been a big downer for me.

Also there been a slew of rain effected fixtures. I still back the rain to have a massive final say in this tournament. Like a rain effected semi/final?

The majority of matches have been no contests!! Yes, the minnows have given us 1 or 2 surprise wins but generally its gone according to the form book. First 5 matches were absolute snoozefests and many a match since has threatened to be the same... Sure, our perspective on the sport has forever been tainted by that s hite they call cricket IE T20...

Very disappointing for me as a fan of the sport to see the likes of Australia doing so well! Their wholehearted endorsement of a cheating former captain and vice captain absolutely stinks IMHO but it's paying huge dividends for them!!

Bangladesh are hardly minnows anymore. We're the new minnows...

There's only one minnow in this world cup and that's Afghanistan.

You don't think they've served sufficient sentence? I assume by the same token you'll despise Pakistan should they progress based on their reselection of Mohammed Amir after his match fixing ban.

No, it depends on ICC rankings in all forms of the game
Ah so you can at the 50 over world cup play at 5 day test pace and that doesnt make you a ODI minnow because you are a top test playing nation.

Like you are a high jumper who can jump the 3rd highest in the world but in athletics hurdles you finish 2nd last out of 10 athletes in the hurdles. Both are jumping so you are not a minnow hurdler?

Sport is about results. Not this PC even though i couldnt be competitive I did my best so I should still be seen as great crap. That is our current government mentality.

Pakistan can get in there... England's last 2 games are India and NZ

Pakistan play AFG then BAN

Bangladesh play IND then PAK

My money on one of these.. if Pakistan win vs Bangladesh it will set them up for 2 match road to lifting trophy.

Big upset vs India in a final I reckon.

Ps. I don’t see India losing any games except perhaps a final.

Rain may yet play further role going forward.
