Given up watching ages back. If I am truly honest, the only reason I started watching was with the hope that SL could get into the running for the finals. When that hope was killed off, the enthusiasm for this was swiftly lost.

You're absolutely right. There is NO need to differentiate colours in odi cricket and teams DO wear all white in tests. That doesn't change the fact that they DO differentiate colours in ODI cricket (for whatever reason) and as I said in my answer to PW, this is the only reason I can think as to why they weren't wearing their other outfit.
