I just sat down and saw the score. Am I seeing this right: Afghanistan can win Sri Lanka here?

You both do realise he was signed by an ipl side this past season. If he is as terrible as you think he would be nowhere near an ipl deal. Also has a Caribbean t20 deal.
Lol, domestic T20 competitions is hardly the benchmark by which international players are measured but irrespective, all the best to the lad. Sure he'll do well...

Two awesome games in two days, hope the boys get their act in order and make it three for this week.

The Proteas should go into the game with 2 spinners since they love bowling first

How come India are only making their debut almost a week later when SA are on their third game of the tournament?

I posted about this schedule earlier in this thread. Sunday should have been Bangladesh vs Indian (as the last 2 teams not to have played a game).

We played the first game and we're playing the last game of the round robin.

Hope India don't make the qualifiers so they can have all the rest they want. Bloody self-pleasures.
What the Indian cricket board asks for they generally get. Still, I wonder if it was worth it. India will now have lest rest time between future games. Hence I am not sure how wise a request it was overall. Either way I could not be fussed. I definitely hope they don't win the WC, rather rooting for SA (unlikely) or NZ. Could live with England winning as that would boost the sport somewhat in a very rich country and hopefully mean more funding for cricket from somewhere other than India. Anyways, will see how it plays out.

We are in uncharted territory. SA is always first out of the blocks looking like Cup winners from the first game. Then we fall in a heap. This is the first time we have looked like losers from the beginning of the competition. Who knows? Maybe Faf will make a miracle and the Proteas will win? We are certainly not out of it yet. Apparently we can still lose 2 more games and hope to go through. I have a funny feeling we're gonna win it.
