Shamzi is going to be key here. He has to come in and maintain the pressure (doesn't have to get wickets mind you). If he travels, then all this hard work from the other four will have been in vain.
He needs a couple wickets before he bowls 6 overs. He has a history of being pummeled in his final
spells

The thing is , we need to take wicket, regularly, else this is a walk in the park for India. My win % is about 5.

IND 129/2 after 30 overs

Edit/ since it’s gone quite in this thread, I will take over and post score updates.

Amla should of been dropped back in January. It's insane to think that Markram was dropped to make place for him. The people to blame for this World Cup performance are the selectors

and the moronic selection policy of quotas.

Yes and no, Amla has done so much for you guys in the past, a true legend in SA cricket. So I can somewhat understand why he is selected on experience and skill.

But I do agree it’s time to send him to pasture.

He Wil come right next game.. Can't keep changing the top order like this. De Kock has done nothing either, so maybe it's time for Markram and Amla

I know that sounds contradictory

That could work, problem is ODI cricket is changing fast, nowadays, 350 runs on the board might not be enough, geez 400 might not be enough, that’s not how Amla plays.

What could work is if Amla plays the anchor role and bats through, you know 100 of 210 balls while the others bat around him.

I’m going to keep quit now, to much useless advice....

Maybe because Faf is a professional cricket player and is in England right now on the pitch playing live and is aware of the current situation.

It’s only 61 runs required from 67 balls

For them SABC3 viewers...

All the rest of Proteas games will be delayed, all of them. And the semi-final and final will also be delayed. Delayed = begins at 19h30. lol

Which is probably a good thing considering the excellent performance of the team.

That's why I'm not paying an SABC TV license ... hark ... paying a TV license ... but I don't have a TV anymore.

Haven't had one since 6 years ago. Then why are the SABC still pestering me about my license.
