As a matter of interest how does one measure the bandwidth used with a uncapped 100mbs (Vox on Vuma) account? Plenty of users in our household. I know watching DSTV Now takes about 100GB in about a week, and that's only watching now and then.

Leaving a public torrent seeding for 5 days at full speed means

23MB/s - 1.38GB per minute - 82.8GB per hour - 1.987TB per 24 hours - ~10TB per 5 days so at 25TB he was not even maxing his line all the time.

Cybersmart CTO Laurie Fialkov said that their Netflix streaming peaks at 13Gbps, with YouTube a distant second.
Be interested to know what the total speed is during peak hours being pulled by Netflix and YouTube content across all ISPs.

Got no idea what usage we have on a 10/2 fibre connection , and it shouldn't really matter - it is uncapped. It is our only method of watching TV mostly ( DstvNow, Showmax, YouTube and numerous Apks) , even though we have an OpenviewHD decoder. Plus browsing and updates.

I know colleagues that use less than 400 Mb a month :p
The original Telkom 512kbps ADSL was 3Gb a month lol. 400Mb is enough for one SD episode of Bob the Builder LOL.
