I'm not expecting those who were circumcised as babies to drown in shame, dude. That does however not change the fact that it's a practise that is the very definition of mutilation, and is accepted purely because it is done under the banner of religion and/or culture. It grates me deeply that what is essentially a barbaric, antiquated custom is still so entrenched in portions of society, and made out by many to be no big deal.

i agree with you on that...i lost count of the south african women stating how mine "looks" so much better and became fascinated with it.

considering i was snipped at birth in another country...it's no big deal, it was for religous or culutre beliefs. it's cause my dad was and my parents didn't want me or my brother to feel different from my dad.

ear, nose piercings (all other piercings) and tattoo's are a form of mutilation as well.....

considering i was snipped at birth in another country...it's no big deal, it was for religous or culutre beliefs. it's cause my dad was and my parents didn't want me or my brother to feel different from my dad.

All piercings except for ear may only be done when you are 18. Or 16....one of those. Also, ear piercings at least grow closed again and is not permanent.
