IT WORKS!! There seems to be some sort of limit though. My first attempt, for R5000, failed but I've been able to successfully transfer R500 and R1000.

I did a total of R3k so I'll deposit that amount back in today and see what happens.

Well done on figuring this out and thanks for reporting back :)

Just one concern ... Do you guys not expect this to possibly be another reason for AB to warm the CC?

Guys can someone please explain what this card has to do with ebucks? I don't see anything about it on their website, but some of you seem to have it for the ebucks.

The people on here doing it are basically paying of the African Bank card from their FNB card using the Easypay payment option and generating eBucks at online spend rate instead of the lower normal shopping rate.

FNB CC ---> Easypay to AB CC / Notice account ---> FNB Cheque ---> FNB Bond then back to FNB CC. Rinse, repeat. Not that I'm doing that myself, I don't have a bond

Its just a R100 debit order, its not a card fee but decreases your outstanding balance. In other words if you owe R1100 you now owe R1000.
Oh yes, I see this was discussed a few pages back in #604 to #619.

It's just strange that this is the first debit order on my gold account after using the credit card for 6 months.

African Bank: On 5 May at 7pm, for a few hours, we will be making some exciting changes to our website. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Wonder what functionality will be added

They are probably adding their telephone banking features to their online banking.

Anybody got any feedback on the interest and insurance fee charges getting reversed?

I don't notice anything new either. Those with ABNA, is there no new functionality there either?

African Bank: We are excited! Our new look website is live, just for you. See for yourself at www.africanbank.co.za. Auth.FSP Reg.NCRCP7638.

Looks like the normal www site is redesigned, but still can't see anything new on the internet banking side

Yeah nothing new for their internet banking. I'll stick with their telephone banking.

What do you use the telephone banking for? I only use internet banking to confirm balance, which is a pain with id, pin and now also password.
