When I log on and go to payments it gives me th option to load a beneficiary but when ive completed all info like acc number, acc type and bank it gives me the error. My transfers to my notice acc works perfectly...just the payments im struggling with..il call em monday and tell u what they say
They will say you don't have a transactional banking account, so you can't pay any beneficiaries.

Gave em a call, they said they are working on payments to a third party acc, directly from your credit card...it should be active soon. They couldnt give me a time frame.

Anyone able to login to internet banking? I need to make a withdrawal from my notice account, but can't access internet banking and USSD says "error in application".

Gosh, that is a bit scary as I have quiet a large amount saved in my notice account. I have had the account for about a year and have never had any problems with it.

Made that mistake a year ago, withdrew full amount and that caused the account to close.

Opened a new account in November, this time I had deposited about 10k into the account and had not done any withdrawals so definitely a problem on AB side.

Now I'm planning to keep minimum balance at 1k ... Once I can access my account again.

The rule is actually very simple ... never ever withdraw 100% of the available amount

My notice account suddenly disappeared off my profile with my money in it. Called to question what's going on, they said that it "expired", error on their side, they will resolve. Two weeks and many phonecalls later, still waiting. Tired of hearing "we are you" lol.

Fun and games dealing with African Bank.

So I got the same sms related to my account. Went in to the bank. Apparently the 7 days notice account is designed to only be valid for 1 year. On the spot opened another bank account.

Went home, logged in online, my new bank account didnt had a withdraw button on the new account.

Waited till 6pm at night, got a sms from African Bank (account verified) and the withdraw button was available

I have spend the last 2 days sorting out this crap, as mine also "expired".

The good news is, nothing has expired, but interest isnt now payble per month, but when you CLOSE the account only.

I would say, anyone has the 7 days notice account (and it expired), as it is only valid for 1 year .... Close (FULL withdraw), and start another one in parallel).
