Thank you. So what they said would be correct if it was a Silver card.refer to my post on the first page.
if you have a gold credit card, you only make payments on credit used (i.e., your outstanding balance).
if you have a silver credit card, you have to agree to a fixed monthly deposit. so if you signed up for silver, the R4000 will be paid from your main FNB/ABSA/etc account to your ABCC account monthly via debit order. if you are not indebted to AB, you're free to withdraw this R4000 whenever
Tried to draw cash at PnP for the first time today after AB confirmed that card was unblocked.Regarding withdrawing cash from ABCC
Maximum cash withdrawal of R 4000 per day at ATM’s
Maximum cash withdrawal of R 5000 per day at POS
Maximum cash withdrawal of R 6000 per day in total
ATM cash withdrawals above R100 (Plus 1.50% of transaction value) R11.40
ATM cash withdrawals less than or equal to R100 R5.70
Cash back at POS R7.50
Based on the above, drawing 10k would cost:
ATM - 4k/4k/2k over 3 days - R71.40 + R71.40 + R41.40 = R184.20
>>> [R11.40 + 1.5%* 2k / 4k] = R71.40 / R41.40
POS - 5k/5k over 2 days - R7.50 + R7.50 = R15 total
Is the above correct? is there any better way than the POS cash withdrawal?
Tried to draw cash at PnP for the first time today after AB confirmed that card was unblocked.
First tried 5k, failed
Then tried 5k plus item, failed.
Called AB to find out what was going on, they said POS cash withdrawals not working for the past year. I said that others had confirmed that it's working. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for 10 minutes.
While on hold, tried just an item to confirm pin and working card, worked.
Then tried item plus 2k, worked.
Then tried item plus 2k again, worked.
Then tried item plus 1k, failed.
Then tried item plus 900, failed.
Is 2k the maximum that can be drawn at a time?
Any reason why the daily limit of 5k wouldn't apply at POS?

It seems like it might be possible to fund your NA using easypay. If this works, there will be no need for the ABCC.
Thanks for confirming, then it makes sense that I was able to draw 2x 2k with items. AB are clueless.I've tested all manner of withdrawals and found that, contrary to ABs own info, POS withdrawals are limited to R4k per day. Oh, and you have to buy something for the withdrawal to work.
Agreed, the website is misleading as this applies to the ABCC and not ABNA.There is no easypay option for investments.

Have you drawn 4k with an item in one go successfully before?
Perfect, that's good to know thanks.Yes, I've done R4k a couple of times. Most shops around here are only willing to do R3k though.
Where did you find this info?refer to my post on the first page.

On another note, I think the new website is a little buggy, only my ABNA reflected on the site this afternoon and now only my ABCC reflects.
Online is messed at the moment.
go on and off a few times it will appear again literally off on off on get the idea![]()
Has anyone tried loading ABCC on the spot app?It was back when I logged in a few minutes later again.
Do you get an SMS when you top up the CC? My online profile is still not working and I don't know if my easypay payment has cleared yet.
