DA will not win. ANC will last forever due to their historical sensitivities.

Best option is to get “good people” into the ANC but where to find them amongst the comrades?

I have a plan, the DA merges with the ANC and by doing that we get the DA good people into the ANC, win win.

Good people were purged over a decade ago, replaced by what we see today. Some became disillusioned and quit active politics. Others have since joined parties like DA, UDM and EFF.

I'm curious - such as what?

The ANC gives out all the right messages. You want the DA to just copy them?
No, they must give us a better solution. We can not do the same thing over and over and expect a different outcome.

They must highlight how we can do things better, for example by:

Appoint people on merit.
Create a business friendly environment.
Protect property rights.
Spend money on infrastructure, not failed SOEs
Support small business.
Better education for all.
Etc, etc, etc.....

The question should rather be, with the shitfest the ANC dishes up, why is the DA not able to capitalise and win national elections? This is the fundamental question, they have to answer. Why is it the electorate does not gravitate towards them?
The black majority does not vote FOR the ANC...they vote AGAINST the whites, first and foremost.

The DA is seen, by the vast majority of the black voters, as the representation of the whites that began Apartheid and also those that want apartheid back again.

This is why CT and the Western Cape, are always described as the most racist city in SA, by the opposition as well as a few members on this forum.

Politics in this country is not fought on the ideological front, but black against white.

No doubt those private companies would still need a favourable BBBBEEEE rating to connect to the national grid. Same ****, different label.
1.6 Do all business entities have to be B-BBEE compliant?

Only business enterprises (those classified as 'Exempted Micro Enterprises') with an annual turnover of R5 Million and less will be exempted. Such entities will automatically be recognized as Level Four B-BBEE Contributors with a procurement recognition level of 100%.

Start-up enterprises are Exempted Micro-Enterprises for the FIRST YEAR following their formation or incorporation regardless of their expected revenue. Tendering for contracts above R5 million does require Scorecard submission.

Businesses that are not exempt fall into one of two categories:
  • Those with an annual turnover between R5 Million and R35 Million are measured under the QUALIFYING SMALL ENTERPRISES ('QSE') codes.
  • Those with a turnover of R35 Million and above are measured under the GENERIC SCORECARD codes.

Guess one needs to set up a business for every wind turbine...

You expect a political party to explain why people in this country gravitate towards corruption & big men like the Guptas flashing their money, instead of voting intelligently? Lol.

People expect a lot from the DA, stuff they won't expect from the ANC in a million years.

It's almost like there's 2 distinct classes of voters, clever blacks who are expected to vote for the DA, and then the Zuma crowd who vote ANC.

So much for equality then, the DA must fix everything but the ANC can just carry on. Where's their list of things to do right for a change?
