Hi all, this is similar to the thread dedicated to the DA being in total crisis (which is used as a platform for people to vent about the party). I only thought it fair to make one for the ANC, where forumers can vent about how the ANC is in total crisis.

To kick off the conversation about the ANC being in total crisis, here's the ANC's electoral performance to date:

Municipal elections:

General + municipal elections:

Below is an analysis of the ANC's performance in this recent election. The ANC for the first-time ever has dipped below 50% in an election. What does this mean for Ramaphosa and his faction? Will we see the resurgence of the RET faction? Stayed tuned for further updates about the ANC in total crisis.

This election will make them realize they have to:

A: Actually fix stuff
B: Steal as much as humanly possible while they still can (exit strategy)
this,
stash as much cash as they can carry in suitcases to hide in Dubai

also at long last people wake up to what the ANC truly is, a party of Gangsters and Marxists that only interested in enriching themselves.
guess looting and riots and loadshedding finally having a desired effect, of showing how evil the ANC truly is.

D. Start a dictatorship. Zuma already tried once, if they are all out of power the real desperation would start and the riots we saw earlier this year might just be tame compared to what we could see.

Well done OP. There was no place on mybb for venting against ANC and you have been brave enough to do this.

As I mentioned in the DA thread: although there are indeed multiple threads about the failings of government on specific issues, hence also attacking the ANC on specific issues, I failed to find a recent thread generally dedicated to attacking the party, such as the one for the DA. So I made one to balance things out :)

C: Blame JvR, Aparheid and WMC (not in that order but you get the idea)
D: Add a few more B's and E's to BBBBEEEEEEEEEEEE
E: Rename a few places and get rid of a couple of statues
A: Actually fix stuff

I'm quite new to South Africa. Does anyone have a list of ANC success stories? I've looked and not found anything credible. Perhaps I need a different search engine.
Plenty of success stories.

*"Poor" soweto residents dont have to pay for electricity.
* IF you are unemployed they will pay you to have a child
* They dress the poor, have you no0t seen them wearing anc shirts?
* A few years back they bought prisoners some KFC , how many countries do that?
*They introduced sugar tax so we all dont end up obese like the Americans.

man i could go on and on and on.

In all honesty, the ANC have done much for SA in certain areas... but it has pretty much always been marred by large scale corruption and incompetence at all levels as well as hollowing out of the state significantly over the last 10 years.

The old townships now look much more like proper suburbs as an example...

Interesting. You seemed quite well versed in the forum's language the other day.

But, welcome, we like inclusivity here. You will be well received here my chana.

You will find some similarities between your country and this one. Boris has pals and zuma had pals. Both benefitted. Boris of course did some accounting irregularities and it is all politics.

Trough pig, c u next Tuesday wasteman.

Sandton, the supposed jewel of this country's business world resembles Mogadishu.

Agree with you, except maybe the townships looking more like proper suburbs - I think that might be mainly limited to Gauteng (as in the whole township being transformed).
