No, not at all. I deal in fact, logic and reason only. If you check Poe's law, you will see that nuance cannot work on the internet. The inflection of body language, facial expression and sound of voice is absent on the internet:

Poe's law is an adage of Internet culture stating that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by some readers for a sincere expression of the parodied views.

Without the voice inflection and body language of personal communication these are easily misinterpreted. A /s, has become widely accepted on the net as an indication that "I'm only kidding". If you submit a satiric item without this symbol, no matter how obvious the satire is to you, do not be surprised if people take it seriously.

If you've interacted with people long enough, you start noticing them. Abzob posts a lot of sarcasm without indicating it. 3WA as well. Buka001 hardly ever does. We have comical Ali types, sollie is comparable to Al Murray in his delivery, etc. You start noticing these things within a few posts.

There's nothing stopping an act of parliament from applying retrospectively. There are plenty of examples all over the world where ruling parties in power get caught out by the laws of the country and then simply just change those laws. When you have the power to make and change rules you don't care so much about breaking those rules.

Truth. And the scary part? I've seen many stupid ideas which they thought would be great.

The reality is that the theoretical separation between party and state is a farce. It may exist in theory, but in reality a party with a large majority in parliament IS the state. There is no separation. The country is run from Luthuli House, not the Union buildings.

I must have read and written too many factual reports in my life. I don't look for hidden meanings. I take any written communication at face value only.
