Where did that outer husk went to all of a sudden?

Did a human reach out and pulled it away?
Yep, A freshly moulted spider is super fragile and you dont want anything touching it while it inflates its legs. The spider is probably perfectly capable of dodging or touching its own moult but it doesn't hurt to be careful.

I have had more spiders die due to bad molts than all other reasons put together.

Do you mean that you keep spiders as pets?

Yep, I had over 150 when I was breeding them, but now I only have two.

The insane thing about the moult of a spider is that it also replaces its teeth, so its old fangs are still on the moult. The longest I measured was 18mm. The fur also super soft, like velvet.
