Pretty interesting Video on Boredom and our ancestral need for boredom. All of VSauce's Vids are great though.
Two observations to make from the information in the Vid:
1) Einstein came up with most of his early works while being bored at his office job as a Clerk of some kind.
2) Something a little more worrying. When I am bored I tend to play Computer games or do something similar. By the knowledge in this Video, I am reducing my brain's "good" bored time by filling it with something fun yet trivial. Essentially reducing my brain plasticity because I am not leaving myself to be bored for a little while.
