"Leaders such as Nigel Farage and Donald Trump are able to divide people effectively using Twitter."

Oh, phuck off!!
Trump derangement syndrome has clearly outrun Poe's law these days.

No need to travel over-the-seas to look for examples, until our economy comes even remotely close to running like the U.S. at the moment, STFU and focus on the myriad of infinitely more extreme local examples to pick from to make this point.

Never a wasted moment to plug in a little Orange Man Bad.... I'm sick of it. Would love to have a proper nationalist president that actually puts his country first instead of just seeing it as a cow to be milked.
Yep he had to slip his own opinion in there.

Don't tell me the National Party was also into communism...

Far left and far right have a thin line between them sometimes. Anyway, the word used was “classic”, not “exclusive” :p

Unfortunately you should be able to see the dung before you vote for it. If you voted for the EFF, you should have known what a bunch of racist dividers they are, and asking for your vote back at this stage is a bit too late. Yes, I appreciate that you condemn the Tweet, but still, the damage is done, and you had a part in doing that damage.

Ndlozi accuses Grootes of inciting ‘black on black violence’ by criticising his Kolisi tweet

The EFF spokesperson calls the journalist a ‘little white boy’ and mentions the Boipatong massacre in a bizarre response to a column arguing his tweet was divisive.

Following the backlash to his tweet congratulating Springboks captain Siya Kolisi for winning the Rugby World Cup on Sunday, but telling the rest of the team to go “get their congratulations from Prince Harry”, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has doubled down in a series of tweets.
The latest accuses journalist Stephen Grootes of trying to “appeal to black on black violence”, after Grootes wrote a column in Daily Maverick saying Ndlozi’s tweet “backfired” and arguing that “the sight of a united team of diverse players beating the best the rest of the world has on offer, is bad news” for the EFF, who are among those that “benefit from fanning divisions in society”.
According to Ndlozi, this amounted to Grootes, who he describes as a “little white boy”, “creating a picture that it’s us vs Siya”.
“Perfect white supremacists strategy to appeal to black on black violence as a way to resolve a legitimate criticism of false racial unity in South Africa,” he continued. What exactly within the column could be considered an incitement to violence is unclear.

Ndlozi then took things a step further, by accusing Grootes of wanting “a Boipatong on us”, referring to a massacre which occurred during the dying days of the apartheid regime in 1992, which saw 45 township residents, believed to be ANC supporters, killed by IFP-supporting hostel dwellers.

But seeing the light should be the ultimate redemption, not so? The damage that has been done can always be ignored while we move forward, together in unity.

Wish the media would stop wasting everyone's time by publishing rasist crap from these desperate, racist EFFers who are so massively obsessed with whites. Why always give them the attention they so desperately crave?

Because the media has greated an industry that is based on proffesional victimhood. There are some politicians and journalists that will not have a job if they cannot use their skin to make money all day.

Oh for sure. Redemption there is, but we all knew who and what Malema was long before the votes. It's redemption, but not the kind where I'll stick my baby son in his arms and tell him "welcome to the family" just yet.

There used to be an unwritten rule in Pretoria that you never bring up these three topics in a bar:
In increasing order of importance they are: History, Religion and Rugby.

It's due to stuff like this that people must just live with the fact that I don't support any racial policy. 100% Non-racialism is the only way out I see. Before we can tackle a host of massive challenges SA faces we absolutely must get over race in our country.
I do not have a single second of time for parties that push anything but 100% non-racialism.

I suspect that they're trying to solicit a controversial reaction from Grootes with a view to playing victim: "look what the mean white journalist said about us". It's best to simply ignore them, as I'm sure Stephen Grootes knows.
