They are certainly not winning themselves any sympathy with their latest shenanigans. I see more potential voters abstaining from voting when they get fed up of Cyril than voting for them. They have lost it completely.
They needed to doubled down to stay relevant and they seem to have doubled down in totally the wrong direction, which was generally expected.

The only difference is that it now looks like a free for all, it used to be Malema charting the way forward and everybody else following, now anyone can say anything.

I noted the reaction from the reaction to the Springbok thing from the other leaders, Malema gave a very tired looking form of support to Ndlozi on Twitter and yesterday in parliament he did not think that the Springbok issue was important, while Ndlozi was being very passionate about it. The other leader Dali ignored them and posted a very feel good story and pictures of Mapimpi while still playing for an amateur team owned by Dali in the Eastern Cape.

Xhosas are very passionate about rugby and it seems Dali is no exception, Ndlozi has just created an unnecessary dilemma and it will come back to bite them when it matters most.

Lets hope this happens. South Africans love their sport and politicians shouldn't interfere.

its the unmitigated anger in the market, -that they are tapping into, that is alarming. A successful CR counters their advance ... a nice internal battle/s would also help the country's cause.

They are starting to show they are political amateurs, they failed spectacularly to read the mood and put their foot in it, they were obviously hoping to create the same debate amongst like minded people on Twitter that failed, even like minded people in the ANC did not buy into their idea, to make it worse, even their own leaders and supporters don't seem to keen.

The hugely successful Springbok tour just put a final nail on the coffin of whatever Ndlozi was attempting, Malema obviously realise this that's why he attempted to divert the parliament discussion to Mugabe yesterday, this will go down as one of their greatest political blunders.

Yet another reason why they should never be allowed to make decisions for this country don't you think

It depends, I am not the type who will throw a tantrum every time a political party makes a blunder and discredit them in everything.

I am capable of saying this is not right but here they did well. For example they did very well in JHB and I am a huge fan of some of the decisions they made there. To come with a blanket statement that they shouldn't be allowed to make decisions is as amateurish as their stance on the Springbok win.

Which political party played rugby ? FF+ ?
Huh ? They made it about a white supermacist thing - rugby. So if we look at a mostly black sport - soccer - where have that brought anyone ? Our soccer teams are so kak they'll never get anywhere. Same as EFF, ANC ....

Get my drift dude ?

You believe that soccer will get the backing of the whole country ?
I don't know and personally, I don't care if Dries, Sipho or Jamnadas backs a particular sport. I love sport so I'll be amongst the backers.

They did have a substantial support from some whites in 1996 when they won the African cup of nations. The country values winners above anything else.

Yes, I stopped supporting the Proteas when they kept on Chocking. The Springbok's supporters also walked away when Rugby went bad for awhile. Who wants to back a loser?
