Edit.

Tried it now. Without cables the run light flashes green. No soc lights comes on

As soon as I connect the inverter, it makes the clicking noise and alm red light stays on...

I am out of ideas, will have to wait for power to come on and connect to cerbo and hopefully battery comes on and can view errors / settings
Looking at the manual this is either a short circuit or a temperature fault?

Thanks

Temp was at 24 degrees

It has been working on previous tests and was charging without issue

Not sure why it would do this as soon as it needed the battery

It does seem odd, it may also be a BMS issue/failure. So the actual cells are still fine and in working order, but the BMS has some sort of issue.

If it was still charging fine and only died when grid power whent down the above would be my guess.

While grid power was still available, was the inverter drawing power from the batteries or from solar/grid only?

Currently only runs as backup system

So system was drawing power from grid only

No panels yet

Anyone researched/tried supplementing solar with wind? Specifically with those horizontal blade type ones?

I see atlas from tesup is definitely a no.

I took a brief look at them, but I have to agree with the majority viewpoint that they are hugely inefficient. The physics just does not make sense, best to use them only in SimCity.

There's a scathing review if the atlas wind turbine on powerforum. I would rather go with a Chinese VAWT on Aliexpress than anything from Tesup.

Still no power

Have a full battery. But can't get it on

According to installer these batteries can't power the inverter alone, it needs solar or grid to assist. Does this sound correct?

That’s such a peculiar response from the installer.

Then you don’t need any batteries at all if you want to power the inverter from the grid/solar only and don’t want/need a backup system

Multiplus i - older model

Power just came on

Battery and inverter is on. Tested with earth leakage and mains trip and both stays on

WTF

Edit.

When I trip the earth leakage the power doesn't go off.

They installed a new main breaker, only when I switch this off, does power fail and inveter start to take over, is this correct?

No it isn't. Get an electrician out, preferably one that understands Victron as well.

The only surprising thing about this is that they used Victron inverter/chargers instead of SunSynk as per the MyBB fanboi's
My take was that cheap flooded lead acid worked out cheaper than the expensive gels if you ignore the lithiums and also, none of the lead acids produced their rated Ah capacities.
