It looks like the 2 main cities represented on this forum is JHB and CT, so weigh in and give your opinion on which coffee shop is the best in your city.

It could be for the coffee, the cakes, the ambience, whatever.

And to be fair to Origin, it is the only coffee shop in Africa I've seen that actually serves Kopi Luwak

Their coffee's not that great and they're super overpriced. The only reason I used
to go there was because they're one of few places in CW that have a smoking section.

If it's just coffee you're after Seattle Coffee Co is by far the best, but they're also
expensive. The one in Exclusive Books in CW is nice because you can take a book
or magazine off the shelf and read it at your table. Of course if you spill coffee on it,
you've bought it. ;)

I know this is just opinions, but I have never found a coffee shop in a shopping mall that made coffee that is anything more than horrible

I've just been to Origin in Bo-Kaap, Excellent coffee and phenominal sandwiches. Then i know that 'Snobs' in Somerset west makes awesome Coffee as well, and they are 'eco' friendly, by using solar panel power to roast their beans
