The best deals on 17" tyres?

Where can I get the best deal on 215/40/17 tyres? Currently I'm driving on 225/50/16 Bridgstone Potenzas and I don't like them, got them new with the car in Feb and now the front ones are screwed! Also lotsa road noise on bad roads...I've been in cars with Pirreli's on bad roads and it felt like shmove roads...maybe its also just my suspension.

Any way the BBS CH reps was in my kitchen for a week, had it at The Wheelshop and Hi Tech mag repairs...the bore was conflicting with the original idea of filling the 5x112 holes and drilling new 5x98 holes...So me had to take it back to Autostyle, just bought new Alfa 17" winter wheels, they use them in Winter in UK...but going to spray them gloss black with aerosol can!

So, me needs 4 new tyres in 225/40/17 or 215/40/17 size please - anyone know any good deals?

Lawl @ the aerosol can idea. Dude - don't be kommen! Are you in the Jhb-area? There's a SASOL garage about 2km or so back towards Sandton (heading away from the N1) on Rivonia Rd. There's a wheels-shop there - they can coat the wheels for you properly....

Called around now...avg price for a respray in gloss black is R300...PER WHEEL!!!

Ontop of the original question...anyone know how to spray paint wheels nicely just like the "profesionals"? Will normal gloss black spray can work?

LOL Got mine fo R3500, and having them powdercoated for 1000 extra.

Tyres I'll see, I don't want a think side wall, then I might as well keep my 50's...I'll have to go see the sidewall of a 40 and 45.

I'm coating them gloss black, as this looks stunning on a red Alfa, its a red 147...then I'm selling the car.
