One was way ahead of its time, still sexy today. I still have mine in perfect condition, except for dead battery.

Lol, their research was conducted by a sample of 40 people. :cautious:

a sample of 40 people were shown a series of images of different mobile phones.

@neoprema What your top 5 ?
iPhone 13, 12, 11, X and 8 ?
Lol you know me too well!

but alas, before I become part of the Apple family I had other phones I loved.

so assuming I can only pick 1 iPhone, (the 4 and my start of loving Apple things) my top 5 are:

1. Nokia 8110i (will always have first place for me, was my first phone and i loved it!) I had the blue suede cover upgrade.

2. iPhone 4

3. Sony Ericsson T68i

iPhone 3G still probably the best of the whole lot design wise in the old Home button design language.

The rounded back and edges made it great to hold and use unlike all the modern square stuff.

Yeah no, that just looks shyte tbh.

Modern phones need to be all screen to be useful these days. Certain products can have a nostalgic/retro vibe to them, cell phones aren't really one of those products.

While we're talking about personal favourites, this was the first contract phone I got for myself with my first job: the Nokia N96 (its party trick was a built-in digital TV tuner which actually connected to the streaming pilot DStv was conducting at the time and enabled me to watch free cartoons in the morning)

These were all my "interesting" phones, back when phones still had identity and I cared enough about them.

Motorola Razr MAXX:

Now it's all just screens. So I go with the best spec'd Samsung that will last the longest before it needs replacing..
