South Africa’s new National List of Occupations in High Demand (OIHD) revealed that numerous ICT skills are in short supply in South Africa.

Higher education minister, Blade Nzimande said the list is updated every two years and helps the country to understand the needs of the labour market.

No place in the list for cloud specialist/engineer but it has network engineer. I would rather think network engineer dies out because of cloud adoption.

Sales Manager, Customer manager, Farm Manager, Travel Agency Manager, Caravan park manager. Which country in the world would put Caravan park manager on their scarce skills list?

School principal, fashion designer, accountant, university tutor, teacher. Not exactly scarce skills

Then the skill almost all adult will have. Driver. No qualification required. How is that scarce skill?
