The Competition Commission has extended the deadline for its new data recommendations as it remains deep in discussions with both Vodacom and MTN about the changes.

So, basically the government wants to force down free Internet access to all. In 2 years from now, they will force down 1TB of free data per day per customer. Crazy stuff right here. Not sure how sustainable this will be and whether we may see more "Cell C" incidents down the road....
