I thought you were going to update the leecher only today, so I didnt look for it 1st. I got the new kew word this morning and entered it via the website, then I saw your new leecher. Otherwise I would have tested it already!

Anyways, with the next new keyword i'll let you know. But from first sight, looks very good man! Auto seems to work!

will leecher enter it automatically if it find a new keyword, or do you still have to press the arrows?

A suggestion: Instead of exiting, why not just suspend the update requests until the next morning (weekdays only) @ 06:00? Unless you're doing that already


I just had another thought. If the leecher spreads to a couple of thousand people, I feel sorry for clubvip's server when a keyword is posted. Imagine the load when all the leecher's are trying to enter a keyword at the same time

but they don't all update at the same time though.... it depends on how much you set the update times to check mybb, at what exact time you start it....so it's all random....no worries.

Found another little bug...

I've decided to put the leecher on one of my virtual machines for the second account I enter keywords for. On startup I set the robot and login options for this account and then waited for the 1st update.

It picked up the last keyword as new (obviously because of 1st run) and then proceeded to try and enter this using the supplied login credentials. While the app was copying the 'latest keyword' (REAL) into the 'Enter your keyword' textbox, the submit button was clicked before the word was finished, only submitting (RE). Are you using a time delay before submit?
Note that this virtual machine is a bit sluggish sometimes.

I did try auto submitting it again using the arrows and it worked fine.

sorry guys, I don't think i'll be Making any more updates to CVIP Leecher, i'm not too sure whether this is a good idea.

I'll be removing the install files from the website soon, sorry.

I don't care if you guys go underground with the last available version, I just don't want it on my site anymore.....

Technically it's not wrong to read data from a thread, sort of like an RSS feed, and it's not wrong to create a mini-browser that defaults to one site, and one site only

the problem is combining these two in such an automated way that it just seems wrong when I think about it

Well, I will keep using this version unless there is a major bug that creeps in to stop me using it, otherwise I will revert to v1.00 which has worked fine for ages for me

No, they haven't said anything. but i'm shutting it down either way.

At the beginning it was a niftly little helper but IMO i've just been adding features too fast, not thinking what I was doing.... It's just TOO easy now

To be frank here, it is giving an advantage to guys that have internet connections or whatever....

I'm not really a programmer but I just love creating little apps that help the mybb guys out (Love this community ) much like JohanG has helped you guys.

I just wanna stop the leech before he gets too big and eats me up as well

ohh man, that just too bad! This little proggie helps me alot, cause the instant email notification of mybb does not work for me at all.

I think 1.5 is good enough to run as is now. just as long as everyone still enters the keyword as K W { } on that other thread.

Believe it or not, I actually *just* saw the leecher Activate with the Robot enabled for the first time now (Iburst is useless so I brought my own modem to work so I can test)

Yeah, it's working very nicely except for the little issue I mentioned earlier.
It seems that when the machine is sluggish, the form filling doesn't work 100%. Not too much of a problem, unless you're not at your machine to manually submit again .
