Remote security gun for protecting South African businesses

South African households or businesses that wish to take more severe measures to protect their families or property can rent a remotely operated rubber bullet gun to deter would-be robbers, thieves, and other criminals.

South African company Sublethal has been offering its remote security guns since 2018, but they recently caught the attention of several social media users.

Can it fire lethal bullets and then a warning shot in the air after?

Until it gets stolen.
What about licensing issues.
It also shoots in one direction.

No thanks. I've made the effort to equip myself with something significantly more capable, configured as follows:
Birdshot.
Buckshot.
Birdshot.
Buckshot x3.
Nobody will go rummaging through your change jar at night...

Fck rubber bullets, need security bots.

Will be illegal. Like it's illegal to put man traps or animal traps in your yard to injure intruders. Firing paintball at an intruder that has not attacked you is assault too. You'll be ordered to pay their medical costs too.

Yup, massive liability issue waiting to happen. Just look at the laws around pools.

Kid retrieving ball from property gets eye shot out... enjoy that legal fun land.
