The cost of buying parts for a gaming PC from Temu

Yeah - this article kinda makes sense. Temu great for clothing, kitchen stuff, camping, etc - I would be highly suspicious of electrical components - esp stuff that runs off 220volt.

Why look on temu?

Rather try banggood.
They are more into electronics.
When you're shopping for your husband's lingerie, you tend to think "maybe I should also get some PC parts for myself and write an article about it"...

I immediately went looking to buy it, yup, definitely doesn't exist. I thought I'd got so out of touch with hardware prices that I could afford a 4070, sadly not.
Nope :-( not out of touch

IMO, anyone buying top electronics from Temu needs to consult a frycryatist
It depends.....getting EOL hardware is worth it, back in the day, local pricing on socket 775/1150 boards were nuts and you can still get some of them locally, but pricing is whack.....temu, bangood, aliexpress, sunsky ect are some times a 3rd of the price..... I haven't used websites like ebay in over 15 years, it is a mess and even more scammers.

But yeah computer hardware especially current gen is sketchy as hell, wouldn't touch, CPU's, GPU's, storage or ram on these websites, other hardware like motherboards, cases, fans, watercooling ect, if a good deal could be worth it.

So it depends.....

The thought of plugging a PC bought from Temu, terrifies me. Not to be attempted without, girst checking that the earth leakage works, and a suitably large fire extinguisher is on hand
