Like what?
Who knows? With the sleazy Fritz scandal coming out maybe everyone is scrambling to cover themselves, maybe he has beans on Winde, nothing as scandalous, maybe John Steenhuisen cheating level of scandalousness? The lengths Winde is prepared to go to in order to accommodate Madikizela is just dodgy.

Cheating is part and parcel of politics. There are definitely high profile people in all the political parties that cheat on their wives with colleagues. John was just one of the unlucky ones that got caught and so was CR and the ex DA Mayor Stevens Mokgalapa.

The DA did badly in the rural WC in the local elections, but not too concerning in provincial or national elections as none of those mickey mouse parties will be on the ballot.
They did get sucker-punched a bit in rural WC, I can attest. The Western and Southern parts of the province managed to stay completely DA or under DA coalition.
But here in the interior areas of the province (Witzenberg, Oudtshoorn, Beaufort, Calitzdorp, etc.), ANC managed to hold their ground (sadly) and is in control of them via coalition.

I don't think ICOSA contests general elections, I also don't see GOOD or EFF winning a landslide victory in WC anytime soon in a general election either...?

They took the most votes from the GOOD for nothing party.
The DA didn't take any votes from anyone, they dropped from 38% to 32%. It was the PA that took the Good votes. Perhaps Gayton McKenzie and the Patriotic Alliance are the better option, at least they are social democrats (or claim to be). And of course ICOSA, led by convicted child rapist Jeffrey Donson, gained a couple points.

In no way is anyone who claims to be a social Democrat(communist) the better option
