Thank you. Will try it. Using the Unotelly trial at the moment and it is going well.

I appreciate the suggestion and will definitely try it.

Unotelly let's you change Netflix regions. Most free services don't allow this.

I haven't tried Netflix yet. Could you explain why it is important to change regions, if you don't mind?

While Netflix US has most things, certain shows or movies might only be on Netflix UK, Canada or Netherlands.

So by using a site like this you can see where the movie you want to watch is and just change your region on Unotelly.

I love Netflix (have for over a year now) but I still can't fathom how they decide what to show and when! None of the Die Hard's except number 3 (With a Vengeance) available. How do they only have Skyfall to stream, but none of the other Bond movies? Seriously, not a single Bond movie I searched for (www.moreflicks.com) was available apart from Skyfall (and we're talking more than 60 movies spread out over half a century here!) :wtf:

Quite frustrating...

EDIT: Not quite sure why I thought 60 Bond movies... closer to 30.

For info purposes, it seems an email is doing its rounds from "netflix" to say your account is cancelled and must be renewed following an internal link. Its a phishing scam.

Also, I lost the logon details for the PS3 account i was using for netflix. Can i register another PS account and use my current netflix details?

Anyone else experiencing Hulu problems today? It's started asking me to activate on the Roku for some reason but won't generate a code.

I'm having a problem with Netflix saying it isn't supported in me region. No issues with Hulu though.

I'm having the same since the weekend. I just did a factory reset of Roku, changed DNS and then back to Jhb and Cape Town, reloaded all the channels etc but no change. So Netflix is outsmarting me :-(

Indeed - a few days ago Netflix stopped working with the "Netflix hasn't come to your part of the world yet".

You need to add a static route to block the Google DNS server, 8.8.8.8. There's a few guides out on the web. The moment I did that Netflix was working again.

I know nothing about Netflix, but 8.8.8.8 now resolves locally and not international anymore. That is probably why you are getting the error message?

Nope, nothing to do with that. Some versions of the Netflix client use Google dns instead of your configured dns to prevent unotelly type solutions.

Speaking of "versions of Netflix",

Anyone know the workaround (besides installing an earlier version) to Android based devices?

I'm currently using my PIA VPN to circumvent the issue, but in doing so I get a bit of a speed hit in the process, as well as not being able to cast to Chromecast.

If you Android device is on your wifi then you only need to setup unotelly on your router.

I'm trying to block 8.8.8.8 but am failing. I blocked 8.8.8.4 and 1 of the other 2 that the help file suggests, but for some reason can't get 8.8.8.8 blocked :-(
