I live 12km from work, but if I don't leave before 6.30 it can take up to an hour and a half sometimes.
Government has no idea that traffic lights are actually supposed to be synced to a certain degree not one is green and you sit at the next and so on.
You assuming the point was to make it sync.. sometimes it’s not like that but to force traffic calming ie slowing people down.

If you live in a main centre it shouldn't be an issue. Plenty of them around. They can change to Shell, BP or Caltex and I still wouldn't have an issue.

It may not be the nearest option, but a few hundred extra meters to get 25% off fuel is a no brainer...
