Jet park power station is burning apparently. Meaning we'll likely be without power for a while

Huge damage in Krugersdorp and Muldersdrift. The roof of a primary school in Krugersdorp collapsed (Protea Rif Primary School). There is nothing in the news as yet, but I can hear many emergency vehicles rushing there past our house, also I see on Facebook they are calling for more ambulances to assist. Seems a lot of injuries.

Mine dump run off in Auckland park:wtf:

No, I was giving a general description of my trip home, starting with work. The dumps I pass are in Booysens and Crown Mines on the outskirts of the CBD.

Roads in some of these areas are covered in a red/yellow torrent in this weather. Doesn't help that the drainage system is kaput.

Damn, that's bad news man!! But wouldn't school have been out for the day? They would have just re-opened after the October break?

School started today. Yes, I suppose it would be kids in after school or those waiting for parents.

Two images from a video taken by a primary school child at Protea Rif Primary school. The extend of damage and injuries are still unknown. After an hour of sirens rushing past us it is now quiet.
