It takes a lot to flip a car over and to lift the entire roof of a building like that.
A tornado is the logical explanation even though no one were able to take a photo because they were to busy hiding from the large hail.

pffffft, in the great non-storm of Cape Town in June this year vehicles got blown over at "strong gale" wind speeds, not even "storm" and long way from "hurricane", like this truck for example:So they must scrap tornado and add hurricane force?
Tornado implies that image of an actual twister, big column of wind.
strong winds <> tornado
but tornado = strong winds.
I had a chuckle this morning listing to CliffCentral. Someone make a comment that it is curious, with the amount of churches in the East and West Rand, and by consequence the large amount of worshipping going on, that these areas are consistently hit with severe "acts of God".
