And our backup dam, that stores even more water than the Vaal dam and has smalller sruface and in a cooler area, is at 93.8%, the Sterkfontein Dam.

Interesting, vaal dam inflow has dropped sharply the last few days. Have they turned off the taps from Katse?

Advise you get your vehicles under cover. Reports indicate that Krugersdorp is being hit with golf ball sized hail.

Just enough rain to get me off the roof and reschedule my project for next weekend.

Made me rethink as well though, instead of just resealing I'm going to lift the first row of roof tiles in order to clean out, then drop the gutters a couple of cm, then put the tiles back and then seal properly.

Taking timelapse of what seems to be a building multicellular storm over Krugersdorp. No rain or hail yet in Breaunanda area, at least since last night.

Well that was a a bit of a dud.

5min of promising looking rain.... Aaaand it's gone and the sun is shining.
