1000l tank getting full.

Busy offloading some of the water into another 1000l tank.

Been pouring in Centurion for a while now - still raining. Loving it. Filling up the pool nicely

Haha

I was amazed at how much water was coming out of the one gutter, totally flooded the flower bed. I am keen to get a jojo and harvest some rain water. My borehole just ain't enough.

If you consider it, 1mm of rain equates to one liter per square meter of surface.
Chuck 50mm of rain at a 100sqm roof, you're looking at 5 kilolitres of water...

I spoke to my uncle on his farm about this very thing yesterday, incredible how much water he stores from the rain, plus saves electricity. Definitely going to get a 5000l tank. He has even offered to help me throw the slab as he has a mixer. Score.

I have a 5kl low profile jojo sitting on bare ground. No issues...

Apparently it really should have a concrete slab, that's what I was told. Tank can split on uneven / soft ground. If I wasn't told this I would have 100% bought the tank and stuck it happily at the bottom of the garden under a tree.

Specific brand name.
Aaah ok. I think it's being used generically at the moment. Haven't heard the word that many times in my life as last week.

After the IT movie, I thought JoJo the clown was making appearances everywhere

I still want to put a JoJo or two up as well, fek knows I have enough guttering to feed them. Just need to decide how to connect them along with the borehole to the sprinkler system.

Started coming down in the south again btw. Second round should hit you all later.

Amazing how much water a roof will yield! You will get plenty!
