Leftovers from the cold front that passed over the Cape, plus some tropical moisture from the north. Pretty isolated but intense storm cells.
Probably the last gasp before winter.

I saw a cold-core upper trough on the charts this morning, but didn't pay any attention. Don't have radar access, but will check satellite images.

I really didn't believe the TAF's this morning when I read them, then as they predicted, I drove home in the rain

Tomorrow they're showing PROB30 TEMPO 2512/2515 -TSRA FEW040CB

(Probability 30% Temporary Change in Weather on the 25th 14:00B to the 25th 17:00B Few Thunderstorms at 4000ft AGL & Light Rain)

Lets see how this plays out

Weather is gone, moved northwards. Late afternoon some TC clouds will form, but unlikely we will see any storm activity. No chance of rain at Loftus during the ceremony.

Looking at the satellite loop this evening in IR... I'm not too sure what I'm looking at moving in from the east
Is it an air mass (considering the cloud hugging the escarpment is still visible) or is it fog....

For those who don't know what I'm on about, watch this line move west
